Privacy notice

How the PTA collects, uses and protects personal information.

This notice explains how the St. Andrew High School PTA uses personal information collected through this website, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2020 (Jamaica).

What we collect

When you send a message we collect your name, email address, optional telephone number and what you write. Parents who sign in to the Parent Portal have a member record kept by the PTA.

Why we use it

To answer your message, to administer PTA membership, events, volunteering and contributions, and to keep the PTA's financial records.

Who sees it

Only the PTA officers and committee members who need it to deal with your request. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are being dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards; financial records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the information the PTA holds about you, or withdraw consent you have given. Use the contact form to make a request.

Please do not send medical, counselling or disciplinary information about a student through this website.
