About the PTA
Who we are, what we do and how the PTA is run.
Who we are
The PTA is made up of the parents, guardians and teachers of St. Andrew High School. It is led by an executive elected at the Annual General Meeting and supported by committees that carry out the PTA's work through the year.
What we do
- Support the school's priorities with projects agreed with the principal and the Board.
- Keep parents informed and give them a voice through grade representatives and general meetings.
- Raise funds for approved projects and report on how the money is used.
- Organise events that bring the school community together.
How the PTA is run
The executive meets regularly and reports to the general membership. Officers serve for a school year (September to August); the hand-over to a newly elected executive happens at the start of each year.
